Chlorine scavenger is a modified, odourless liquid sodium bisulfite formulation used to remove free and combined chlorine from reverse osmosis (RO) feedwaters.
Chlorine scavenger liquid is also less prone to air oxidation than equivalent solutions and has a longer shelf life when compared to straight sodium bisulfate solutions.
Chlorine scavenger removes chlorine more effectively than activated carbon and eliminates many of the issues associated with carbon beds, including bacterial growth and carbon fines in downstream feedwaters.
