PPD are low temperature flow improvers and pour point depressants for middle distillate fuels and heating oil. They do not adversely affect combustion or water haze stabilization and do not contribute to corrosiveness. The intended function of PPD is modification of wax crystal formation at low temperatures to depress the cloud and pour point and improve the cold flow properties of a wide range of distillate fuels.
